 Day
1. Arrive Faro Airport, transfer to LAGOS
Route briefing and cycle provision. Lagos is one of the most cosmopolitan and historical towns in the Algarve. Enjoy a stroll through the modern marina or explore the narrow streets around the old town walls.

2. LAGOS CIRCULAR TOUR 28ml(46km)
A circular ride through old villages and beautiful unspoilt countryside to the west of Lagos. This ride gives you the opportunity to experience ‘traditional’ Algarve at its very best.

3. LAGOS - SILVES 26ml(42km)
Today you begin your journey eastwards to the town of Silves passing on your way the Alvor estuary where at low tide locals collect clams and then through the beautiful Odelouca river valley.

4. SILVES - ALTE 28ml(47km)
A ride through the heart of the Algarve passing orange groves, almond and fig orchards and then onto the Arade Barragem a spectacular dam with a wonderful lake. From here you continue eastwards to the beautiful village of Alte.

5. ALTE CIRCULAR TOUR 20ml(32km)
 This is you chance to pass through totally unspoilt countryside where local people still use the donkey to plough their fields and many of the older women continue to wash their clothes in the local river.

6. ALTE - LOULE 24ml(38km)
Today you pass around the impressive Rocha da Pena escarpment before travelling south to visit the old town of Salir. From here you the most fabulous views accompany you on your journey to the town of Loule.

7. LOULE CIRCULAR TOUR 29ml(47km)
From Loule you head eastwards passing through the old town of Sao Bras before turning south to the village of Estoi. Your return allows you to pedal through unspoilt countryside & hamlets.
