Day
1. Arrive PASSAU.
Individual arrival in Passau, your travel documents will be waiting for you at your hotel. Take
the opportunity for sightseeing in this town and visit its old town walls, gates and towers.

Day
2. PASSAU - SCHLOGEN/St. AGATHA 25ml(40km)
Collect cycles in the morning and start cycling through the Upper Danube Valley, passing Obernzell and the beautiful Trappist monastery at Engelhartszellat. Continue your trip to the famous Schlogener Danube
Loop which offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside.

3. SCHLOGEN/St. AGATHA - LINZ 33ml(54km)
Today you cycle through the villages of Aschach, Wilhering and
Ottensheim to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria. You have enough
time for a stroll through this enchanting old town with its many
interesting sights.

Day 4. LINZ - PERG/SURROUNDINGS 22ml(35km)
You leave Linz and continue your tour to Enns, the oldest city of Austria and further on to Mitterkirchen where you can visit an open air museum. Here you take the turning to Perg.
Day 5. PERG/SURROUNDINGS - EMMERSDORF 47ml(75km)
Back on the Danube cycle path you pass Grein, the small romantic town with its baroque city theatre. Continue by bike and perhaps detour to visit the old Roman town of Ybbs. You reach Marbach by riding through the Nibelungengau and after Marbach the pilgrimage centre of Maria Taferl greets you from the hills above. A short distance now to your overnight stop at Emmersdorf
Day 6. EMMERSDORF - KREMS

Today you cycle one of the most popular parts of theDanube, the Wachau - well known for its choice wines. You pass through some of the traditional small villages of the Wachau to reach the best known town of this area - Durnstein, where Richard the Lion Heart was once taken captive. Soon you will arrive in Krems, the end of the Wachau. Perhaps visit one of the many wine taverns 'Heuriger' and taste the local specialities.

Day 7. KREMS - TULLN - VIENNA 28ml(45km)
You cycle along the southern bank of the Danube to the former Roman town Tulln where you leave the hired cycles. From here you take the train to Vienna and take
time to enjoy the magic of this lively city with its beautiful
buildings and picturesque riverside settings. perhaps visit Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens, one of the most important cultural monuments in Austria.
