Day 1. ARRIVE ANGERS.
Collection at the Railway station: transport to Blaison-Gohier. Your hosts are Claude and Jacqueline Blanchard at the small hamlet of Le Clos de la Touche in the charming village ofBlaison Gohier. Evening meal and accommodation in their 18th century farm house.

Day 2. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER 25ml(40km)
Discover the Chateaux at Brissac as you take to the back roads exploring vineyards and “Troglodytes”- people who live in caves. You have the comfort of the same location for the overnight stay but tonight is a night for dining out at a choice of local restaurants.

Day 3. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER

After another excellent breakfast make for a wine estate where you will see the process of wine production from the grape to your glass! There is a possible game of golf or other activities to suit.

Day 4. BLAISON-GOHIER - BLAISON-GOHIER 25ml(40km)
An early start for your day in Saumur. Cycle by the Loire to arrive in plenty of time to explore the many interesting sights. Saumur is a place dedicated to horses but there is also wine making, liqueur distilleries, armoured vehicle and motor museums and the magnificent Chateau. You can have dinner at local restaurant in the old city and a lift is provided back to Blaison-Gohier.

Day 5. BLAISON-GOHIER - LES VERCHERS-SUR-LAYON 25ml(40km)

Leave the hospitality of Jacqueline & Claude for a trip through the vineyards, remote villages by country lanes to Doué-la-Fontaine, the city of the roses. You can discover some beautiful rose gardens according to season, visit one underground village and finally reach Les Verchers-sur-Layon where Marie and John welcome you into their beautiful family mansion house named "Les Basses Fontaines". Dinner is cooked by Marie while John introduces you to wine tasting.

Day 6. Rest day at "Les Basses Fontaines"

You can enjoy a local ride and take advantage of this day "off" to pay a visit to the charming little town Doue-la-Fontaine or enjoy some wineries in the vicinity. Dinner at Les Basses Fontaines.

Day 7. LES VERCHERS-SUR-LAYON - BLAISON GOHIER 25ml(40km)

Cycle back to Blaison-Gohier, via a different route to see many other places of interest on the way to reach Le Clos de la Touche for your last overnight. Gourmet dinner and wines.
