A scenic train journey from Inverness by lochs and glens takes you to Skye for six days of exploration of this famous Hebridean Island. Over 200 species of birds have been recorded on the island, 20-30 pairs of golden eagles are nesting and there are many divers, greenshanks, golden plovers and other moorland birds.
