A fascinating journey between Scotland's two major cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh. The refurbishment of the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals has once again established the historic waterway link across Scotland.This masterpiece of 18th century engineering has aqueducts, lifting and swing bridges, locks, junctions and now the 21st century Millennium Wheel at Falkirk.

An exciting journey through some of Scotland's finest scenery from the remote glens of Highland Perthshire to the beautiful Trossachs Region often described as "The Highlands in Miniature" The scenic route winds its way along the shores of beautiful rivers and lochs in the shadow of majestic mountains.

This popular tour explores the contrasting character of the beautiful scenery which separates the Highlands and Lowlands. You travel from the riverside city of Perth, past the rugged Grampian Mountains to reach a world of hills and glens heralded by Lochs Venacher, Achray and Katrine. From Lochearnhead you will enjoy the superb views of lochs and mountains in the Trossachs 'The Highlands in Miniature'.

Towering mountain peaks, shimmering lochs and romantic glens mark this route. There are forest walks and nature trails, castles and other ancient monuments. The fast flowing River Tay is a frequent companion beginning in Perth and continuing through Dunkeld and Aberfeldy to the beautiful scenery of Killin and Loch Tay.

This new Scottish coast to coast trail was launched in April 2014. The route is named after the Dunbar born conservationist John Muir, who emigrated to America whilst still a boy and became the father of the American National Parks and a key figure in the conservation movement. Starting in Helensburgh we follow the trail across Scotland for 134 miles to Dunbar in the east. The trail passes through villages, towns and Scotlands capital city - Edinburgh.

A slightly shorter trip than the Orkney Heritage tour but this itinerary still provides an opportunity to visit Orkney's main historical sites together with a visit St Magnus Cathedral to the island of Hoy and its spectacular rock stack, "The Old Man of Hoy". A strenuous 240ml Mountain Bike Tour which follows the ancient trails and drove roads across Scotland from Loch Hourn in the west to Montrose in the east. From the Atlantic seaboard in the west follow desolate tracks, mountain passes and forest trails through some of Scotland’s finest scenery to the reach the North Sea at Montrose. It is not all off road , however and you will be glad of the intervals on the smooth tarmac of minor roads. It begins at the remote village of Kyle of Lochalsh on the west coast.

Following the clearly marked Aberdeen to Inverness cycle route, this fascinating tour follows varied roads and cyclepaths through Old Aberdeen to Dyce. The route then uses a mixture of traffic-free railway paths and country roads as it heads through rolling farmland. It continues north through fertile farmland and small villages to rejoin the beautiful north coast at the fishing village of Banff. From here hop from one seaside bay to another along this picturesque coastline-fishing villages, sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and prolific wildlife on land and sea.

A spectacular journey from Inverness,the Capital of the Highlands, along the shores of Loch Ness to Fort William.Cycle by special paths and quiet forest trails you may see some of the abundant wild life on the mountains lining the route, perhaps a red deer stag or a golden eagle. A rest day in Fort William to explore - try some mountain biking in the forest or climb mighty Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain.
